Details

Start of contract: Billing starts when your SIM card is activated. This can be done immediately (with eSIM) or after delivery by mail. If you already got a starter kit from your Uni or colleagues you can activate your SIM in the educom app.

Voice clocking: 60/60, started minutes are fully being charged.

Data clocking: Data connections are clocked to the nearest kilobyte (1kB).

Speed: LTE (Austria-wide), download up to 300 Mbit/second, upload up to 50 Mbit/second. The actual final speed depends on various factors such as terminal device, network utilization and location.

Speed: We always charge the basic fee in advance at the beginning of the billing period. The billing period is 30 days.

Free units: The tariff includes unlimited units (minutes or SMS Austria-wide to all networks) and 110GB data volume (Austria-wide). Connections to service and value-added numbers, operator short numbers, and outgoing voice calls to foreign connections are not included. MMS services are not offered.

Data transfer: The units included in the rate are consumed first. Unused, Austria-wide data volume will be transferred in the next 2 months up to a maximum value of 330GB.

EU international telephony: Applies to EU countries as well as the EEA countries Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein.

Roaming: since 15.6.2017 you can make calls and send SMS within the EU, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland at the domestic rate. The data roaming amounts to 13.40GB.

After consumption of the included data volume, your data consumption is billed per MB depending on consumption. For information on usage-based billing for mobile data services, please also refer to the information on the Cost Limitation Ordinance: www.rtr.at/kostbev.
